Q. Who are our clients? A. Anyone pursuing a qualified lawsuit who also needs cash to buy food, pay medical bills, pay their mortgage payment, or has other immediate needs for cash.
Q. How much are our fees? A. Since each lawsuit is different, our fees vary by case. Variables include the type of case, how long each case is expected to take, and the likelihood of your winning. Our fees will be calculated after we've talked with you and your attorney, before we advance money.
Q. Do I have to pay the money back if I lose my case? A. No. Our fundings are not a loan. They are cash advances contingent only on the successful outcome of your case. Our fundings are non-recourse, which means we are only repaid from the proceeds of your lawsuit. If you don't win your lawsuit, the money is yours to keep. If you don't win, we lose.
Q. Do I need good credit? A. Our decision whether or not to make a cash advance is based solely on the merits of your lawsuit. Your credit has no impact on our decision, and our funding will not show up on your credit report.
Q. How much money can I get? A. As little as $2,000, as much as $50,000, possibly more.
Q. Do you provide legal advice? A. No. Only an attorney can provide legal advice. We only provide cash advances.
Q. Do you have any impact on the settlement decisions in my case? A. No. We have no influence on your decisions. What you do in your case is between you and your attorney. Once we have funded a case, your attorney will only receive an occasional call from us to check on the status of the case.
Q. When does a cash advance have to be repaid? A. We take a lien against the proceeds of your case. When your case settles, we are paid from the proceeds.
